Sweet Daisy Petit Four Shoppe is a social enterprise of NAHT that resources survivors of human trafficking with leadership skills, discipleship and job training through a paid internship in Sweet Daisy.

Race to protect
Race to Protect is a countywide initiative empowering Rutherford County faculty to become certified in recognizing, preventing, and responding to human trafficking and child grooming during the 2026–2027 school year. As the first school district in Tennessee to launch this groundbreaking program, Rutherford County is leading the way in creating safer schools and stronger communities. Through interactive training modules, educators will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to identify warning signs and protect the students entrusted to their care. The race represents a shared commitment to learning, collaboration, and urgency as faculty work toward certification and champion the safety of every child. Together, Rutherford County is setting the pace for the rest of the state and proving that prevention begins with education.

Rutherford County had already welcomed us into nearly every private school in the area. This vote carried that same trust into the public schools, across an entire county at once. Rutherford county leads the way
On January 6, 2026, we stood in front of the Rutherford County school board and asked to bring Educate to Recognize into the county's public schools. The vote was unanimous. That single yes opened the door to roughly 52 schools and about 57,000 students.
The timing was not lost on us. That same season, Tennessee passed the Jack Johnson Bill, which requires grooming and human trafficking awareness training in the state's public schools. What Rutherford County chose to do and what the state now asks for point in the same direction, and the door opened right when it was most needed. Rutherford County had already welcomed us into nearly every private school in the area. This vote carried that same trust into the public schools, across an entire county at once.
