step 1: Background check
The first step to becoming a volunteer is completing a TBI background check. A clear background check must be acquired and emailed to volunteer@nahtcoalition.org before signing up for volunteer training at NAHT.
If you currently have a State of Tennessee driver's license click the button below to complete your background check.
If you currently have an out-of-state driver's license, then you will click this button to complete your background check.

In two simple steps:
step 2: Volunteer Training Class
Once you have submitted your background check, you're ready to participate in our Volunteer Training class. This class is in person at our NAHT facility on the last Saturday of the month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. This training is designed to take you deeper into understanding the world of human trafficking and best practices for member interaction. Having completed volunteer training, you are now ready to select which areas interest you the most and begin your volunteer experience with us.
