RESPOND WITH CARE

Our thriver-led team listens first. We take time to understand what a woman is facing, what she needs, and what may be standing between her and safety.

Then we respond.

Our team looks at the whole person and works to understand what she needs physically, practically, relationally, and spiritually. Then we help bring together individualized care and trusted resources around her circumstances.

NAHT is not a residential program. We work alongside trusted treatment providers, housing programs, community partners, and other resources to coordinate care around the individual needs of each woman.

What Rescue Looks Like

Helping women get out of trafficking and exploitation and into a safer environment.
Getting women to treatment, housing, appointments, or other places of safety and care.
Connecting women with trusted treatment programs, sober living, trauma care, and housing resources, while helping coordinate transitions between programs.
Providing clothing, shoes, hygiene products, food, bedding, and other essentials that can bring comfort and stability during a vulnerable time.
Helping address everyday barriers that can make rebuilding difficult, from securing a phone and service to completing job applications and accessing community resources.
We don't simply make a referral and walk away. Our team stays connected through treatment, transitions, setbacks, and progress, continuing to offer encouragement and support.

Care for what she needs right now.

Rescue can begin in a moment, but what someone needs in that moment can look very different. Our team works to bring together the right care and resources for the woman in front of us.

Dignity can show up in the smallest things.

Trafficking can strip away a person's ability to choose.

Through our Rescue Closet, women can access clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and other essentials they may need. Whenever possible, we give women the opportunity to choose for themselves rather than simply handing them what is available.

A shirt. A pair of shoes. A personal item.

They may seem small. But having a choice can matter when so many choices have been taken away.

Getting out is only the beginning.

When a woman is ready for continued support, the relationship can continue through NAHT's Restore program.

Restore provides a Christ-centered community where women can pursue healing, sobriety, healthy relationships, biblical discipleship, practical growth, and greater independence.
