Laurie Atkins grew up in Iowa and went to the University of Iowa. She graduated with a BA in Communication Studies. She and her husband lived in Nashville briefly from 2007-2009 but relocated back to the Midwest to be closer to family. After 9 years working as a banker and financial advisor in Chicago, she and her family chose to move back to Nashville for a better quality of life and to raise their young family. She relocated with the JPMorgan Private Bank in 2018 and in December of 2020, joined AllianceBernstein.  She is passionate about her role as a Wealth Advisor; advising families, non-profits and foundations, and business owners on all aspects of wealth planning, including strategic asset allocation, wealth transfer and charitable giving.  

Laurie is married with five children, two boys ages ten and eight, twin girls age five and a three year old little girl. The four older children attend OakHill School. They also attend BrentwoodBaptist Church. Laurie enjoys spending time with her busy family, most often, at their sporting and school events.
