John N. Thompson was born in Kentucky and attended Lipscomb University. He currently lives in Brentwood TN with his wife Kim, to whom he has been married for 32 years.

John and Kim are members of Harpeth Hill Church of Christ and have three grown kids: Lawren, Katherine, and John.

John owns and oversees Commercial Real Estate in Middle TN. He enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends, hunting, and being outdoors.
