Candy has been involved in helping mend broken lives and aiding in rescue of victims of human trafficking, child sex abuse/neglect, domestic violence, and substance abuse for 20+ years. Being married to a law enforcement officer has helped Candy with opportunities to reach these individuals more successfully. She has an excellent relationship with local law enforcement and T.B.I., F.B.I., and Homeland Security. Candy is an evangelist, who spent many years in Murfreesboro, TN feeding thousands of individuals who were either homeless, near homeless or in extreme poverty. These are the locations where the majority of victims, she has personally assisted, were located. They are the most vulnerable. Candy also spends time educating her community, local law enforcement, and conferences about child sex abuse recognition and response, human trafficking and ritual abuse.
Candy has a very realistic understanding of violence and her passion comes from her own unique experiences in life.
Candy and husband, Garry, are the parents of 6 beautiful, adult and adolescent children, four of which were adopted locally and all have incredible stories of survival. One of the four is a survivor of human trafficking and ritual abuse.
Candy is honored to share her areas of expertise and personal testimonies.
