Extending the embrace of Christ to survivors of human trafficking through friendship, discipleship, and long-term wraparound care.
NAHT's regular community-building events such as holiday celebrations, Salon Days, and healing arts classes are planned with the help of NAHT's two Survivor Informed Care Specialists. Survivors are invited into a safe, simple, and peaceful environment where they feel loved, seen, and free to enjoy themselves and each other.
Women interested in becoming a part of the NAHT family receive a wraparound care team of two to three trained staff and volunteers who provide them with consistent friendship, relational support, and economic guidance. They have opportunities to attend the monthly trauma-informed and friendship-building events described above, as well as 12-step recovery groups, bible studies, and grief share meetings.
